What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here’s the TV that everybody will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Blind Date (TV3, 9pm)

TV3′s new dating show returns for episode number three tonight, which will feature Facebook comedian Fabu D. Fabu D, whose real name is David, has 180,000 followers on Facebook and told the Mirror that his mam thinks he looks “like a black Conor McGregor”. If you’ve ever seen the carry on out of Fabu D on Facebook, you’ll probably be curious to see how this translates to television.

Robot Wars (BBC 2, 8pm)

A brand new format of the classic contest comes to BBC and this time around it’ll be hosted by Dara O Briain and Angela Scanlon. There’s new hazards and new rounds as well as a new contest called ‘Ten Robot Rumble’, which is a free-for-all where 10 teams fight to the death with no time limit. It’ll be interesting to see how the robots of 2017 look, considering the technology is a lot more accessible since there early ’00s version of the show.

Acceptable Risk (RTÉ, 9.30pm)

The six-part thriller set in Dublin and Montreal continues tonight. Emer is encouraged to officially re-open the case and follow it through, no matter who might be exposed. Meanwhile, Sarah goes for lunch with her sister’s ex-husband and discovers that answers may lie closer to home.

Everybody’s talking about… The X Factor’s Talia Dean

talia-dean ITV ITV

X Factor viewers were desperate for Talia to succeed. She made it to the judges houses by the skin of her teeth, but wasn’t lucky enough to make it to the live shows. Talia also opened up this weekend about enduring domestic abuse and an occasion in which her ex-boyfriend beat her so badly that she almost died.
